For the Love of Denver: Labor Day Weekend 2017

While plenty of people are heading to the mountains for this three day weekend that is the unofficial end of summer, there are great things to check out in Denver this weekend!

One of the biggest events this weekend is certainly A Taste of Colorado with over 250 arts and crafts vendors, over 60 food tents and trucks, and music everyday. If you love the 80s, be sure to check out Sheila E, 38 Special and Rick Springfield. It’s free admission so be sure to get there early to claim your piece of Civic Center Park to enjoy the shows!

As it is the unofficial end of summer, this is the last weekend to enjoy water parks. If you’ve been planning to go and haven’t made it all summer, now is the time to visit the water park at Elitch Gardens and Water World

Tonight is the Rocky Mountain Showdown. The Rams and the Buffs face off at sports Authority Stadium. It looks like Ticketmaster still has tickets!

Tonight is also First Friday. Head over to Santa Fe, Tennyson or RiNo and check out all the galleries and businesses supporting arts and culture in our city!

If you’re up for heading out of Denver and don’t have mountain plans, Tour de Fat is going on in Fort Collins on Saturday and the Colorado State Fair is going strong in Pueblo.

Whatever you do, have fun this weekend!
